Russian duo Eximinds have quickly emerged from the massive pool of upcoming EDM talent over the last two years, and have become one of the fastest rising names in trance and progressive. While Eximinds has existed for several years as a musical experiment with various members, only under the tutelage of current members Alexander Zhukov and Dmitry Momzikov has the musical collective started to gain the attention of EDM's elite. Eximinds met in an online music forum in 2009. After determining that they both had a shared passion for trance and technical skill, the two teamed up and immediately started producing more notable tracks in 2010. Their hard work quickly paid off when they signed with Enhanced Music in the same year. Their first single release as a newly formed duo, 'Afterlight/Forever Love,' became an instant hit which opened the flood gates of opportunity. Their remix for D-MAD's 'Forsheez' gained notoriety after being featured on several compilations, receiving support from many of the industry's heavy hitting DJs, including the legendary Armin van Buuren. Since then, the budding producers have released superb reworks for Paul Oakenfold, Ronski Speed, Aly & Fila, and fellow Russian producers Bobina, Moonbeam, and Alexander Popov. Their remix of Alexander Popov's 'When The Sun' also struck gold for the duo, marking their first appearance as a 'Tune of The Week' on A State of Trance, and was featured on the A State of Trance 2012 mix compilation. Perhaps their most notable achievement was their remix of The Thrillseekers ft. Fisher's 'Angel.' The smashing remix received highly prestigious mentions from both DJ Mag and Mixmag, the latter crowning their remix as 'Trance Tune of The Month' (July 2012 issue) -- an accomplishment coveted by the most renowned of artists. Keep an eye on Eximinds; their ride to the top has just begun.
